Abstract
 This study aims to analyze the difficulties faced by industrial engineering college students. It also investigates way they triumph over those troubles in learning speaking. employed descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this were freshman department at University Madura who took English course. data gathered from observation, questionnaire, and document. findings confirmed that Engineering students some problems English. They fear making mistake, shyness, anxiety, lack confidence motivation. is expected be useful for other researcher consider their student speaking.
